Baja Bud’s has been a Rancho Park fixture for as long as anyone on the block can remember. A small kitchen, an open fire grill, scratch salsas, handmade tortillas — and a line out the door at lunch.

When we set out to build Baja Organica, we didn’t want to invent a kitchen. We wanted to borrow one that was already doing it right. So we partnered with the team at Baja Bud’s and built a sourcing and delivery layer on top of their kitchen — same grill, same cooks, same standards.

The kitchen hasn’t changed. What has changed is what comes into it. Because every order is planned for a specific office in advance, we can source local farm-fresh ingredients, lean in on organic where it’s available, and customize around each team’s food requirements — all prepared in the same professional kitchen that’s been doing it right all along.

How We Got Here

    A neighborhood kitchen opens on National.

    The original Baja Bud’s plants itself at the corner of National and Sepulveda — a working kitchen for Rancho Park, not a concept. Regulars start showing up before the doors open.

  2. 02The Grill

    Fire-cooked meats become the soul.

    Carne asada, pollo asado, and pescado asado go on the open flame. Nothing steamed, nothing braised in a bag. The grill becomes the reason people cross town for lunch.

  3. 03The Standard

    Scratch becomes non-negotiable.

    Handmade corn tortillas. Salsas pressed that morning. No lard, no MSG, no extra salt, no preservatives. It’s slower, it’s harder, and it stays that way.

  4. 04The Delivery

    Baja Organica takes it Westside.

    We show up in the morning, cook alongside the Baja Bud’s team, package everything up, and deliver to offices across LA’s Westside. The food you’ve been driving to? It drives to you now.
